Are your Procedures and Work Instructions fluent with SHEQ? Do you have a non-competing risk management in these systems?
I can help you integrate your management systems, and give your procedures and work instructions more impact from your present Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) systems.
Using job/process analysis, I can help you isolate the S. & H., E., and Q. needs, treat each separately (looking for hazards, risks, and opportunities), and then integrate the three systems to work with your operational requirements.
While I normally focus on industrial, chemically-related work, I also coach for non-chemical work and service activities. I relate well one-to-one, one-to-small group and one-to-large group, be they managers or the general workforce.
My work includes the following management systems:
- ISO 9001 Quality
- ISO 14001 Environment
- CSA Z1000 Occupational Health and Safety
- OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety
Your chemically-related workplace
Your company probably uses chemicals in the various stages of your production line.
Some of these chemicals will be obvious, as in:
- painting/staining/printing
- electro(less) plating
- composites
- chemical cleaning
- conversion coating
- adhesives, etc.
Some chemicals will be less obvious, as in:
machine fluids/oils/greases, etc.
Other chemicals are created as unwanted environmental products from
welding/grinding, cleaning, etc.,
in the form of vapours/gases/fumes/particulates.
Then, of course, there are chemical wastes to be processed.
